Dubai Lifestyle City Launch Attracts International Celebrities
Los Angeles, CA – Tennis star Maria Sharapova and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan are among the A-listers endorsing Dubai Lifestyle City, a Tuscan themed community designed by acclaimed architect Tony Ashai.
When finished, the 98-acre project will feature the most lavish Villas ever built in Dubai, the less ostentatious Villettes, a 5-star JW Marriott Hotel, a 4-star Courtyard Marriott, IMG Sports Academy, destination spa, fine dining, a theatre and shopping all surrounded by beautifully landscaped walks, driving greens and promenades.
Tony Ashai, master architect of Dubai Lifestyle City and a veteran designer of high-end residential architecture in Beverly Hills and Southern California, was present for the launch party and spoke in length with tennis star Maria Sharapova, about the details of the project’s aesthetics.
“I wanted to create an image of strength and beauty for Dubai Lifestyle City. Traditional, authentic Tuscan architecture is built over generations. It tells a story about its inhabitants. Although the concept of Dubai Lifestyle City is new, the integrity of its design and the beauty of its architecture is timeless. It will stand strong and be in style for years to come,” said Tony Ashai.
The design seems to work. When asked her opinion of Dubai Lifestyle City, the international tennis star, Maria Sharapova replied, “When I retire this will be the place to come and enjoy with my family… I hope I can be apart of this when it is ready.” Despite their exceptional price, many investors have bought nearly all the villas and villettes.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, has also shown interest. After receiving the first Dubai Lifestyle City Award in London, he commented “the whole concept… I’ve heard it’s quite wonderful.” Fourteen estates were sold that day.
