Tiger Woods’ First Golf Community to Feature Homes Designed by Tony Ashai
Los Angeles, Ca – Los Angeles architect and designer, Tony Ashai has been selected to design the residences for The Tiger Woods Dubai, a Tatweer development which will feature the world’s first golf course designed by Tiger Woods, a boutique hotel, spa, private club, golf academy and a community center. When completed in late 2009, the entire project will encompass an area of 55 million square feet focused on the plush, 18-hole Al Ruwaya course.
After interviewing over twenty-one top designers and architects worldwide, California architect Tony Ashai was chosen for his proven mastery of luxury villas and estates in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Palos Verdes and Shady Canyon.
“My designs for The Tiger Woods are born from the Andalusian style of architecture which has similarities to Arabic architecture. I was inspired by the possibility of creating wonderful living environments which draw beauty from focal points of Andalusian architecture,” said Tony Ashai.
Tiger Woods himself had this to say, “The Tiger Woods Dubai is designed to become one of the world’s most sought after destinations. I think this community will be a genuine oasis for those lucky enough to live or stay within its spectacular grounds.”
“I am very excited to be a part of Tiger Woods Dubai which will be elevated to one of our Signature Designs,” said Tony who looks forward to the project’s completion. |
